We are partners of NAC, an auction house founded in Zurich in 1988, which is reputed to be one of the world’s leading and most trusted firms for Classical Numismatics, which, over the years, has been honoured to sell countless important collections which form part of one of the most important series of sales ever to take place in the history of Numismatics.

Our team is composed of staff with strong experience in Classical Numismatics and a wealth of experience in well-recognised auction houses. Furthermore their experience includes work on numerous archeological sites, and a degree in conservation of cultural treasures.
Supervision and expertise of Numismatica Ars Classica is a guarantee of a highly professional numismatic service.

We will inspect each item in your consignment and highlight all of its positive attributes through our detailed descriptions. Of course, we must also provide exceptionally accurate descriptions for the benefit of Naville Numismatics’s registered bidders. We incorporate all pertinent historical information and pedigrees in the description of your item – features that make your items even more desirable to bidders. Then your coins will be professionally photographed and images together with the descriptions, will be prepared to be published on our Auctions.

The possibility to submit absentee bids from around one month prior the auction, and the live internet auction environment, with thousand of collectors connected from all over the world, in which the bidders can hear in real time the voice of the auctioneer, generates significant bidder competition for your items before and during the live auction session.

As a consignor, you will have a reserved part of our Naville Numismatics Website, where to follow your coins from the publishing of the auction till the live auction, when you can see immediately the final realized price of your items. At the end of the auction you will receive a full consignor report.
We are continually accepting new consignments and are happy to carry out valuations of entire collections or individual coins. Our staff are happy to help and will most likely ask you to provide some photographs in order to gauge whether the coins would be suitable for a potential sale at one of Naville Numismatics auctions.
